Report / Report as Option for Portfolio Editor

Aloha Mark,

I am a relatively new Personal FundManager user and am very happy with the software; my apologies if this has been answered already, but I could not find it in a search of the message board.

I like the ability to easily drill down to graphs by right clicking within the Portfolio editor on the portfolio/sub-portfolio/investment. It is also powerful that the report menu will automatically filter a report on the same as selected.

It would be very handy to have a "report" or "report as" option when right clicking in addition to the "graph" and "graph as" options that are available. ("Graph" appears to be the last selected graph -- very useful when wanting to use the same report for various. the "Graph as" appears to replicate some but not all of the graphs from the "Graphs" menu.)

I am not sure how much back-end code, but from a UI perspective it would be helpful. There is a lot of mouse movement to keep pulling reports.

Hi Jason,

Okay, thanks for the feedback... I can see that being helpful. You may already know this, but if you select a sub-portfolio in the Portfolio Editor, before choosing one of the report types from the top level "Reports" menu, that sub-portfolio will be selected by default in the Report Settings dialog. This may help save you a few mouse clicks.
