Transactions not shown on report

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby fundman247 » Tue Dec 01, 2015 4:30 am

Hi Mark,

I wonder if you can shed some light on transactions that do not show up on the standard Transaction Report.

If you look at the slides you will see if the start date is 29-11-2015 to 30-11-2015there are 2 trades are missing(red arrow). If however the start date is 27-11-2015 they will show up as done on 30-11-2015.

You will also notice the MOM_MON_MARK on the NAV and DIV graph a sell is shown on 30-11-2015.

This problem is coming up on a regular basis.

Sorry for the black areas as it was to reduce the file size to 256kB.

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

I'm not sure, can you email me this investment file (*.dat)? I'll see if I can reproduce the problem here.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

After I closed FM and re-opened it the 2 missing trades do display correctly. With this in mind do you still want the 2 .dat files e-mailed??

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Why don't we wait to see if you can reproduce the problem again. If you can, email me the investment file. Both transactions should be in the same investment file, so you just need to send that 1 *.dat investment file.
Thanks,
Mark

There were one buy and one sell each in a different investment.

I have e-mailed you the 2 files in any case.

Hi fundman247,

I received the investment files. Thanks for the clarification on why there were 2 investments. I wasn't able to reproduce the problem here, both the 11/30 transactions appeared in the Investment Transaction report when reporting from 11/29 - 12/1. Please let me know if you run into this problem again.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I have send you a listing of transactions via -email where if share decimal places are set to 6 it will only show the SHR BLNC up to 6 for positive numbers but truncate negative values.

This is on vers 2014 13.7

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Those negatives are truncated due to lack of space, as you can see by the "..." at the end of each one. You just need to widen the share column. Click/drag the divider on the right of this column header.
Thanks,
Mark
