Investment Order

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark

Is there a way to auto-magically re-arrange the order of investments in a report according to the investment type, rather than manually dragging each into its proper place?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

There are several options here:

1) Sub-total your report by Investment Type. This will put all the investments into each sub-total section. You control the order of the investment type sub-totals with "Options / Investment Type...".

2) Sort your report by Investment Stack (which is the default), and order your investments in the stack by investment type by using "Investments / Sort By / Investment Type".

3) If you're using a Custom report, you can add "Investment Type" to the report, and then sort by that field using the top level "Sort" menu.
Thanks,
Mark
