migrating memorized reports

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby dlevy » Thu Feb 25, 2016 10:52 am

I just got a new computer and (almost) successfully got FM up and running. All the portfolios and investments are fine, but the memorized reports did not make it over. I'm not sure how I caused that to happen...

Is it possible to bring the reports from my old to new machine without affecting the portfolios and investments?

I can recreate them fairly easily, but wondered if there was something better.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

If you use the backup/restore feature in Fund Manager it will bring over all your data and preferences, including memorized reports. If you only want to restore preferences, you can do that too with the backup/restore. During the restore choose the option to restore registry preferences, and only restore the selected item. For more detailed instructions, see:

Thanks,
