Yield = NA

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

FM2020 - Portfolio Editor screen
I notice that some investments have Yield 3m = NA while Yields 6m, 1y and 3 y for the same investments show percentages.
It concerns investments I own for more than a year and that have daily price updates.
How can Yield 3m be NA while Yield 6m has a value?
Thanks
Regards
Alan

Hi Alan,

You are likely missing prices 3 months ago. If you look at your yield interpolation range settings there is an option for how many days you will allow interpolation for a missing price period. Look in the Data Register under the "Prices" data type for 3 months back from the current date (which is the date used by this Portfolio Editor field), and see if you have a gap in pricing.

If this is not the reason, create a ROI Yield report ending today with this same 3M yield term, and it should also show NA. You can then look under "Help / Logs / Report Calculation..." for an explanation of the NA figure.
Thanks,
Mark
