Capital Gain Report - Specific Lots

How can i show gain details for each specific lots that add up to position sale?

Right now the report show a date range for 'Bought' date for the particular 'sale' where the details is aggregated according to lots between those dates.

what if i need to know gain specifics for each purchased lots use for the sale?

Hi jackchan,

You can do either of these:

1) Turn on "Options / Report Preferences... / Capital Gains / Use Wash Sale Rules". This is available in either the Professional or Advisor versions.

2) Change your investment to use "Specific Lot" accounting. You can assign the property under "Investment Properties... / Other / Accounting Method". After this, you must "Specify Lots..." for that investment.
