History of current investments

Is there an easy way to generate reports for all *current (non-zero) investments* spanning the lifetime of each individual investment?

E.g., all distributions received from all currently held investments, even if each investment was initiated on a different date. Or all unrealized capital gains for all currently held investments.

You can either hide all your investments that you don't own as of today, or you can use the report preference:

Options / Report Preferences... / General / Investment Display / Do Not Display Investments With Zero Share Balance

and set it to "On Ending Report Date".

Either of these will give you a report that only lists investments you own as of the ending report date.

If you want to calculate a number since inception, pick the inception date of the whole sub-portfolio.
