Vertical Lines during mouse hover

I'm surprised I haven't seen any other questions about this so maybe it's just me but when my mouse hovers or simply moves the mouse cursor across a report a vertical line appears which travels with the mouse. When the cursor exits the report window the line simply remains where it is. Over time if the mouse cursor travels over the window multiple times the vertical lines accumulate. Resizing the window makes them go away.

Just to expand on this a little further it looks like the normal operation of the mouse is disabled on the report window. I can't right click to bring up the report menu nor click on a security to bring up its Data Register

Hi SteveP,

I think you've got the window in a confused state. Try re-sizing a column, and that should put you back in the normal state. I see that if you click/drag outside the window, and let go of the mouse outside the window it can get in this confused state.
