Hi Mark, Is there a field or an option that can be used to display the total unrealized gain or loss in the Gain Graph. I did try switching the historical or current cost still the display text shows only the out of pocket gain or loss. Thanks much for your time
Hi divinest,
The Gain graphs are plotting your Out Of Pocket (OOP) gain. When you use the current cost mode, that is your unrealized OOP gain. It is the OOP gain on the currently owned shares. Besides the OOP numbers, there are also tax basis numbers. These are not available in these graphs. The OOP differs from tax numbers based on received distributions. OOP is showing your overall break even point, and is lowered by received distributions, where tax basis is not lowered from received distributions.
Hi divinest,
No, you can only get the tax basis values in reports, or the Portfolio Editor. You can't plot them.
