Mark I am trying to do a custom report and I want the investment name like is shown in the Portfolio Editor. I found the remaining items but not the name. Also is it possible to export the portfolio editor with all the columns that I have displayed to a csv file.

Thanks Jim

Hi Jim,

Use "Options / General Preferences... / Display / Investment Description" and set it to just "Name". Sorry, no, you can't export the Portfolio Editor to a CSV file. You can export any report though.
Thanks,
Mark

Add the fields:

Symbol
Shares (ending)
Value (ending)

and make sure you are "Listing" by "Investment".
Thanks,
Mark

So there is no way to have both the name and the symbol in the report?

Yes, you can have both the name and symbol. If you use the report settings I mentioned the first column will be the investment description (which can be the investment name), the second will be the symbol, etc... Since you are "Listing By" investment, the first column will always be the investment description. The investment description can be any of these:

Name
Symbol
(Symbol) Name

and you set that under "Options / General Preferences... / Display / Investment Description", so just set it to "Name", and the first column will be the investment name.
Thanks,
Mark
