Changing Default Date Range Graphs

It appears the default date range for graphs is PRC. I would like to change this to 12 months if possible.

With a graph open, I use view dates, apply the predefined range of 12 months, and apply changes to all open investments. As soon as I close the graphs and reopen, the graph is back to the PRC period.

Is there a setting I am missing that would keep all graphs at 12 months?

Sorry, no, this isn't a setting you can set. You can leave your graph window open, and not close it. If you want to switch to a different window, just use the "Window" menu, leaving the graph window, and all the preferences associated with that window. If you save your portfolio file, it will remember these graph window preferences across sessions.
