Legend Text Calculations

Mark,
Is it possible to do calculations in the legend text. I would like to display the cost basis per share. A lot of my investments are in DRIP accounts and I have the cost [[EINVCOST]] and the total shares [[EINVSHARES]] so what I would like to display is [[EINVCOST]] / [[EINVSHARES]] but this just displays the slash sign and does no calculation. I did not see the cost basis per share in the fields to insert.

Hi Jim,

You cannot do math on fields in legend text. (You can do math in user-defined Custom report fields.) These 2 fields are available for investment based graph legends:

[[EINVCOSTNAV]]
[[EINVCOSTNAVCHANGE]]

Those are the OOP cost per share, and the change in that same field from the prior day. I think you're looking for [[EINVCOSTNAV]].
