Pie chart - order by name

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Postby rudolfr » Sun Jun 21, 2020 6:55 am

Hi there,
When I create a pie chart of my asset allocation, the graph automatically lists on the right hand side all asset types ordered by their weight in the portfolio. The asset types that represent a larger share of the the portfolio appear on the top and the ones that represent a smaller shares appear on the bottom.
I wonder if there is a way to re-order this list of asset types by alphabetical order. I would prefer to see, for example, "FI: Low-Moderate" side by side with "FI: Medium Moderate", even if they have very different weights in my portfolio.
Best regards,
rudolfr

Hi rudolfr,

Yes, you can do this. Right mouse click on the graph, and choose "Graph Options / Display..." and turn OFF the option: "Sort Pie Chart Slices by Value". When this is off, the asset allocation pie chart will display the slices in the order you choose under "Options / Category Labels...".
Thanks,
Mark
