Date range for triggered price alerts

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi Mark,

Two things: 1. Configured email notification of price alerts; test email worked (after reading the msg board!). Is there any way to set a date range so that you can see what has triggered over a span of time? 2. Tried to run a custom report to accomplish the same thing, but must not be putting in the right parameters - can you help?? As always, I have used FM for ages and could not function very well without it, so keep up the great work!!

Hi Bill,

Sorry, there really isn't a report that gives you a listing of all the completed alerts. That would be a nice feature to add. About the closest you can get now is to use the Data Register on a per-investment basis, and set the "Data Type" to "Alerts", so you can see all the alerts (completed and active) for each investment.

Thanks Mark,

I do go through the data register and check them; it would be nice to be able to copy or print the notification pop-up (I tried but was unable). In the future the email notification should handle the problem for me if I go for a period of time without updating prices (I travel to areas that may not have internet that is able to download a lot of data).
