Failure to access prices for Pension Funds from Morningstar

Hi Folks,

I have added my pension fund holdings to the portfolio that I monitor but cannot auto download from Morningstar - Unit Trusts. It appear that for OIEC and IS the search string is the 8 character code, but for Pension funds there is an additional segment "&INVESTMENTTYPE=SA. The question is am I using the correct server for accessing Pension funds or does your search mechanism have to be 'updated'
I have now conducted an experiment and by concatenating the Morningstar code with the string "&InvestmentType=SA" to give e.g. VAUSA05T95&InvestmentType=SA, then changing the Multiply the retrieved price by 0.01, I get the correct result.
This proves two things:
1. 30 yrs software knowledge is not always a good thing
2. It would be nice if FM introduced a 'new' class of fund called UK Pension which would automatically add the string "&InvestmentType=SA" to the search

Nice detective work..., and thanks for the feedback. Yes, you are correct, this server doesn't add anything by default to the end of the request URL, other than the symbol. (You need to add the "ID" as described here: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/int ... ingstar-UK) You can trick it by adding anything else you want into the symbol field in your FM investment. If these are a common item, we can consider creating a new quote server for these.
