Hi Mark, I wonder if you can help me to see the actual price when I do transactions manually. I have a setting of 4 digits yet 6 are displayed and it causes the beginning digits to be cut off. Kind Regards. fundman247 Don't stay in bed....unless you can make money in bed - George Burns

Hi fundman247,
In the transaction dialog, the price will be displayed to however many significant digits (up to 6) are required for the fields to be self consistent. Stated another way, if the 5th and 6th decimal place are not 0, they will be displayed here. Other places, like the Portfolio Editor, will honor your setting on how many digits to display, but not in the transaction dialog. This is done so you can see how any rounding is happening, and you see the complete data as it is recorded. Maybe we could widen up this edit box, or force it to scroll the left side of the price into view, chopping off the right side when the price is too long for the edit box.
Thanks for the reply. Both suggestions would be ok with me.
It does seem as if the whole form would then be increased in size in order to display shares to 6 decimals as well as price to 6 decimals and also allow share prices that go to 6 digits as in this case. Regards. Don't stay in bed....unless you can make money in bed - George Burns
