System Error Code 18

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi Mark,

I recently started to get "system error code 18" when I update prices. I get this error and a message "no more files" for each fund updated. If I click through each error I will eventually get all prices properly updated. Any thoughts?

Hi Jim,

I'm not sure about that one...

1) Does it matter what quote server you use?
2) If you reboot your computer, does that clear it up?
3) What version of FM and quote module are you using? (See "Help / About...".)
4) Do you have on the option "Options / Internet Settings... / Use Windows Settings"?

Hi Mark,

1. I have not tried different server. Currently using Yahoo historical.
2. Restarting system does not correct the problem.
3. I am using 2014.13.7 and 491.
4. Use "Windows Settings" was ticked "on". I turned it off as I am not using Windows. I am using Ubuntu with Fund Manager running under "Wine" a Windows emulator. This has been my configuration for at least 5 years and I have had no problems until now.

I will test the new configuration and if that doesn't work a different server this weekend and let you know the results.
