Price updates

As far as I can see, Fund Manager creates a new investment and associated investment file for each symbol (investment) in a portfolio. If the same symbol is held in many portfolios, a new investment and associated investment file is created for each portfolio. The prices for a given symbol as also included in each investment file. Let's say that 20 portfolios hold IBM. To update IBM's price in all portfolios for a given date, that date and price must be saved in 20 different files, even though it is the same data. Do I understand this correctly? Is there a workaround for this?
Hi paulstonge,
You understand correctly, that is just how Fund Manager works. Each investment file contains its own transactions, prices, and properties.
