Treating Distributions

Does it make a difference in any of the reports whether you use the re-invest icon or simply purchase the corrrect number of shares from a distribution as long as there are no duplicates and the reconciliation is correct?

Hi heartky,

For performance reporting, and capital gains this makes no difference. There are very few places where it would make a difference, but if you reported on "Reinvested" and "Distributed" distributions, they would be categorized differently.
