I am struggling to correctly apply the investment symbol for a British stock called Get Busy PLC - and specifically how to encode the exchange.
The ticker code is different depending on the online source - I have seen L.GETB and LON.GETB
Fund manager however seems to have its own unique 2 letter method of coding the exchange, with the exchange code following the symbol code - e.g. when an Australian share normally has symbol XYZ.ASX, for Fund Manager this is shortened to XYZ.AX
Taking stabs in the dark, I have tried GETB.LN, GETB.LO, LO.GETB, LN.GETB, LON.GETB, L.GETB - none of which are found by the Yahoo quote server for UK and Ireland.
What is the procedure for translating a stock symbol (and specifically the exchange code part of the symbol) from standard quoted format to FundManager format?
