Yahoo Fails to Retrieve a non-existant ticker

When I perform a price update (Retrieve Selected Prices) on a sub-portfolio, I receive the error message: The following symbol/combination failed to update SCPB from (Yahoo)
Except that there is no such ticker and in reviewing the details of the portfolio editor for that sub-portfolio shows no such holding. This error began within the last few days.
In that sub-portfolio, I have SCHP, SPTS, SCHW, SWOBX. Looking at the properties of each of those shows no other symbol than the appropriate one.
I changed the quote server to Yahoo-Alternate (much slower). No errors.
Question2: Why does Yahoo-Alternate download quotes for tickers I've never had (in any portfolio)?

I'm using quote module 531; transaction module 234

I meant to say that I do not have SCPB in any portfolio,

Check your hidden investments. (From the menu, click View, and check View Hidden Investments/Portfolios.)

SCPB is likely in there. If so, click on the investment's properties and uncheck Retrieve Price under Internet Retrieve.

You were correct. It was hidden because the sub-sub portfolio had been closed out for a couple of years now and it was in that portfolio (along with many other investments also closed). I don't understand why if a portfolio has been closed and I have not been getting a retrieval error before now, suddenly, I do.
I no longer get the error.
