Hi Mark, I've been importing for years with no problem but suddenly (after a W10 update that rebuilt my entire system... poorly) the generic import prices is failing me. What's wrong with my import string?

Hi aldenxi,

You can't tell for sure by looking at the CSV in Excel. It hides certain characters. Instead, open the CSV file in a text editor, like Notepad. A couple of guesses:

1) Does your symbol really have double quotes around it in the CSV file?
2) It looks like you have a space character after "YY," and "LL,". Do you also have a space in your CSV file at these spots? If not, you don't want a space in your input format string either.
Thanks,
Mark

It looks like the problem was your first suggestion which was hidden characters in the .xml file + removing the quotes around the symbol. I saved it as text file (viewing it with notepad gives nonsense) and voila, all is well. I tried the the .xml file again without the quotes but it still failed. Thanks Mark.
