Morningstar retrieve Issue

Hi, when I use Morningstar to retrieve funds price, I normally use ISIN as a key to find the price.

However, sometime a fund is quoted with more than one currency :for instance, Eur and USD, with the same Isin .

Now, I f I bought it in Euro, and the retrieve system gives me back a quote in USD, of course I am in trouble .
I didn't find a way to selective ask which one quote I am interest to receive .

I post a typical example : The Morngan Stanley Euro strategic bond has isin LU0073234253, but it exist ( you can see on Morningstar) both in Eur and USd, and it always give me back the dollar quote.

Hi giovanni,

Exactly which Morningstar server are you using? There are several. If you look on the Morningstar UK - Unit Trusts server, this fund has 2 separate ID values, one for EUR and one for USD.

EUR: http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/funds/s ... F0GBR04BIL
USD: http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/funds/s ... 0P00000SI8

So, if you want EUR, record F0GBR04BIL as the symbol. If you want USD, record 0P00000SI8 as the symbol.

Thanks for the solution ! Where in the site did you find the tickets , such as 0P00000SI8
?
It was something I was looking for , but I didn’t find, so I was using the ISIN code, which in fact was the same....
