Spinoff

Mark, I used the spinoff wizard and entered data incorrectly including taxable instead of not taxable. How do I easily delete this transaction so I can redo it correctly?

Hi twighcb,

In the parent investment, use the Data Register and data type "Distributions" to delete the Return of Capital and Other distribution on the spin-off date. On the child investment, you can either close the whole investment (if it didn't exist before the spin-off), or go into the Data Register again and delete all the "Transfer In" transactions on the spin-off date.
