Yahoo historical Currency retreival

Hi Mark,
I'm using FM Personal 2024.18.2 Quote module 602.
When retrieving current day Currency quotes for Canadian currency exchange rates,
no problem. The problem is when I try to retrieve Historical quotes for Canadian
currency exchange rates. The quote servers I use are Yahoo and Yahoo Historical.
I visited their web site and the Historical quotes are available by clicking on the
"Historical Data" tab located at the very left side of the page under the "Summary" tab.
Would it be possible to remedy this problem?

Hi Sheldon,

I just test retrieved the symbol CADUSD=X from Yahoo (Historical) with quote module 602 and it worked correctly to retrieve historical prices. What symbol are you not able to retrieve?

Hi Mark,

My apologies. Thanx for checking. I inadvertantly had checked the box
for "use alternate symbol when retrieving from historical quote server"
which changed the symbol by inserting a "fx\" in front of it, generating an invalid
symbol. Might have been a holdover from WSJ historical. It works fine now.
