foreign currency rates retrieval, historical

I am unable to retrieve (adjusted or unadjusted) historical exchange rates either Yahoo or Bloomberg and others. I am using the correct Yahoo symbols and descriptions, but must be doing something wrong. I am relatively (1 month) new to FM. Thanks.

Yahoo doesn't have 'historical' prices for exchange rates. You have to download and import them. There are instructions here:
