Vanguard Annuity transaction update

I have been successfully updating Vanguard Annuity Transactions, until at some point in 2009 Vanguard apparently changed the name of the annuity funds, which were automatically created as new investments in FM, ignoring my old investments of similar (eg Vanguard Annuity Money Market), but not exact , Name (eg new name, Money Market Portfolioxxxxxxxxx, where x = account #).

Attempted to resolve by renaming my old investments to the new Vanguard name, but Internet Retrieve/Transactions continues to recognize only the newly-created Vanguard investments (even though I slightly modified the name of the newly created investments so as not to have dup's.)

Is there any way to migrate the prices, transactions, etc of my old investments into the corresponding new investment, which would appear to be the only solution here?

Hi Mark,

The transaction retrieve matches up incoming prices/transactions with existing investments by the CUSIP property of your investment. You can update the CUSIP, and re-retrieve if you'd like. This is under "Investment Properties...".

You could also manually transfer the transactions by using copy/paste in the Data Register. You can select all the transactions, copy them, move over to the other investment, and paste them. See the double down arrow in the bottom of the data register for the copy/paste commands. It may be easier to just edit the CUSIP and re-download though.

Fixed by downloading the new Beta, and copying the prices (long over for an upgrade!)
