New Quote Server Suggestions

I would like to ugest a few new quote servers which you can include in the new price retriee module.

www.oanda.com --> for retrieval of historical currency quotes
* a server for updating spot price of precious metals (gold, silver, etc)

Thanks for the suggestion. That would indeed be a good quote server to add.

BTW, you can currently download/import to get historical currency quotes from this server. This is not as nice as having an integrated server where you can retrieve, but it is a decent workaround until we can add this server.

Save using the CSV format and import using the "Generic" price import with the format string MM/DD/YY,NAV.

That's exactly what I do but as you said ... seamless integration with a quote server would be mych better. Any suggestions for a precious metals quote server

I've not looked into which servers offer precious metal quotes. I would start by looking at Yahoo. Just visit each server with your browser. We have links to all the available quote servers here:
