Cant update generic Price

This may be a silly, quisetion, but i dont see where the error is. I am trying to update prices, by iporting with the generic format:

"SYMB",NAV

My CSV file on ly have the following informtion:

BPVPDF,98

The symbol for the security and the NAV, But i get the same message that the input format dont match ani lines of the imported file.

I dont get it, there are just 2 entries, one column with the symbold and anpther with the price.

I did specified the date and symbol and just had the file with the NAV and worked.

Hi ebosquez,

Based on the sample line you posted, the format string should be:

SYMB,NAV

instead of:

"SYMB",NAV

since you don't have double quotes around the symbol, you don't want them in your format string either. Since you have the symbol in your file and format string you do not want to "specify" the symbol. You would want to "specify" the date, since the file doesn't have the date.
