No price updates anymore

Hi,
Price updates haven't worked for a few days on my FM installation. Therefore, I have updated to FM 2024.18.2, Quote Module 598, Transaction Module 268 today, but prices are still not updated apart from one single update from YAHOO-REALTIME server.

Hello,

All of the Yahoo servers appear to be working currently. If you're still having issues, please let me know what quote module, server, and symbol combination isn't working. The current quote module is 598, and you can find your version by using "Help / About...".

Thanks for the help. I just tested TT from here using the same quote module and server, and it retrieved correctly here. If you right mouse click on only the TT investment, and choose "Retrieve Selected Price(s)", does it work if you update that by itself? If not, please email me both price retrieve logs (regular and detailed) from under "Help / Logs".

Hi Mark,

I've been having problems with Yahoo! as well for the past 24 hours or so. The old trick of retrieving once while virtually in the US hasn't helped this time.

Log below for one sample stock and I'll attach the detailed log too.

I have just updated prices from the Yahoo UK server by setting the VPN to USA. Without VPN or with it set to UK, no price update.
Any help?

To clarify: as of today I can't retrieve from Yahoo either using a VPN with a US IP address (I tried two) or not using a VPN and thus revealing my location in Germany.

YAHOO-HISTORICAL is working, so I've still got a way to retrieve prices.

Yahoo cannot update any investments when connecting from Europe.

I'm trying to update prices for say BNS.TO (Bank of Nova Scotia, Toronto) from Yahoo server. Will not work if you select "Retrieve Selected Price". It works if you select "Retrieve Selected Historical Price". I have the latest updates. It all worked fine yesterday. Thanks for looking into this.

We see the same issue. The Yahoo servers are not working when accessed from Europe. The Yahoo servers remain functional outside Europe, so a temporary work-around is to use a VPN.

The Real-Time and Historical servers are still working, even from within Europe.

We hope to release an update soon with some solution for Europe and the current Yahoo servers. Please check under "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates..." for the latest status (scroll down to the Yahoo section).
