updating dividends

how can i update dividends manually for all investments on subportfolios?

Hi rromagna,

You can do this in the Data Register. Select "Edit / All Data..." to open the Data Register. Set the "Data Type" to "Distributions (all)". You can now select the sub-portfolio and investment you want to work with, and press the "New..." button to add a new distribution manually.

but if I have a same investment in different sub-portfolios, can I upload easily or i must do one by one? I'm using advisor version.

Hi rromagna,

If you are manually entering dividends, you would need to do it for each separate holding of the investments. If you have many of these, it is usually easier to import if you can get it in some sort of electronic format from your broker.

I think it will be a good upgrade for new version if you implement a way to update dividens like you can do with splits.
