Cash gets reported as 15.43 a share

All the sudden in one of my accounts, when I update prices, the cash price is treated as 15.43 per share, rather than 1 per share. I can go in and manually fix the price to 1, and everything is fine. But when I update prices at the end of the next day, cash goes back to 15.43 a share, great ballooning the portfolio worth.

Cash is set as a cash account, with cash being the account type. I can't find where to go to determine what it thinks it is that makes it download a 15 + per share price as the day's ending price.

Any help to this mystery would be appreciated.

Hi Tod,

Edit the properties of this cash investment, and look on the "Internet Retrieve" tab, and make sure to turn off "Retrieve Price". By default this should be turned off for cash type investments, but it sounds like it got turned on somehow.

I went to the area you stated, and LO!, entered the correction you suggested, and everything is working PEACHY as usual. Yes, for some reason, the Retrieve Price box was checked on. Don't know how, because I never navigated to this area. But ...
