Forced manual price retrieval

Hi Mark

Two investments in my portfolio (WES.AX and STO.AX) do not update when I do a general portfolio price retrieval. Yet if I right click on each and choose "Retrieve selected price" it updates fine. I checked "Investment Properties" and it has the "Retrieve Price" checkbox checked. The quote server is the default (the Australian Stock Exchange) which obviously works fine for the other investments.

Any suggestions where to look?

What version of Fund Manager and what quote module are you using?

It's Personal 11.1 and quote module 423, but the problem has been around a long time with previous versions. I'd just assumed there was something wrong with the way I'd set up the investment, but today's checking seems to indicate not

Thanks for sending the data to test with. The problem is happening because you have some invalid ticker symbols. When Fund Manager retrieves from the ASX server, it is sending 4 symbols at a time, to retrieve faster. If one of them is invalid, none in that group get retrieved. To fix this, make sure all your symbols that you're retrieving from this server are valid. For example, the OM-IP220-1 symbol is not available/valid on this ASX server, so you should either correct it to a valid symbol, or turn it off, so it doesn't retrieve. You can turn it off under "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve / Retrieve Price".
