can't download Fidelity transactions

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

I am using FM Pro 11.3, Quote Module 424, Transaction Module 146. I used to be able to download Fidelity transactions without difficulty. But now, I have not been able to download transactions for about 10 days. I thought perhaps Fidelity was not showing them as transactions until they settled at 3 days, but over a week has elapsed and still can't download the transactions. When I reconcile I can correctly see the "missing" (non-downloaded) transactions, so at some level the program would appear to be communicating with the Fidelity server. I can download transactions from Scottrade without any problems, so appears to be a Fidelity-specific problem.

Would appreciate help solving this problem. Thank you.

Hi drwehby,

It sounds like you aren't getting any errors, but just not seeing your transactions, right? As a test, try retrieving just this one account with these settings:

All Dates - ON
Skip Transactions in FM - OFF
Create New Investments as Needed - ON

Do you see your recent transactions then? I'm just testing to see if there is some filter preventing you from seeing your recent transactions.

If you still do not see your recent transactions, please go look at the "xmldump.txt" log file to see if you see any sign of these transactions. For help finding this log file, see the bottom of this page:

Your suggestion to try and retrieve without filters worked -- I must have had something inadvertently set that I failed to notice.
