Question on transaction updating

Currently using an old version of Personal FundMaster which includes dividends and distribtions on data retrieval. Am I reading this correctly that if updating to the current version, you must go to the Professional Version for the updates to record dividends and distribution?

Hi AK,

No, you can record dividends and distributions in any version. You just cannot "retrieve" automatically dividend data from the Yahoo quote server unless you're using the Pro/Advisor versions.

In all versions you can either manually record, import from a file, or retrieve from your broker any distribution data.
