Should a correctly entered spinoff transaction using the spinoff wizard result in an external transaction?

Hi Brad,

Yes, these will show up as portfolio external. This is probably not ideal, but that is the way spin-offs are handled. There will be distributions coming out of the parent, and one or more transfers into the child. All of these will be considered portfolio external.
