Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby reddragon » Mon Aug 05, 2013 12:29 pm

McGraw Hill recently changed their trading symbol. Fund Manager created a new Symbol but left all the information as far as trades, Dividends and shares under the old symbol MHP. How do I update this in fund manager?

Hi reddragon,

When did Fund Manager create a new investment? Do you mean when you retrieved transaction from your broker?

You can manually change it by editing the properties of your existing investment. Right mouse click on it, and choose "Properties..." to change the symbol.

You can close the new/empty investment that was created. If there are any transactions in there, move them to your old investment before closing.
Thanks,
Mark

Right mouse click on the investment, and choose "Close" or "Close Investment" from the popup menu.
Thanks,
