Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Are the broker password/account information encrypted on my machine?

Hi righttrader,

No, this information (if stored) is not encrypted. For security, you can not enter your password into Fund Manager. Just enter your account number and user ID. When you do a retrieve FM will prompt you for the password each time, but it will not store this password. It is only used for the current retrieve.

In the future we plan to improve this, so you can store your password in an encrypted manner.
