soome copied positions not updating

Hi I copied some positions into a new portfolio Copied using the file menu but left the data data blank I then bougt a new position in the new (copied) shares Some worked fine but a number do not updata just show the buy price I have retrieve on and have tried a few servers All look like they have the data but does not update on the holding?

Hi alan,

Are you asking why some of your investments are failing to retrieve pricing? If so, check "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve" and make sure "Retrieve Price" is checked. Also, see the quote servers and make sure the recorded symbols are available on those servers. For a complete list of items to check, see:

yes all checked still shows buy price no update Yet same investment in another sub portfolio does update I think the new from existing is causing the problem

Hi alan,

How are you verifying the closing price data? Use the Data Register with the "Prices" data type. that shows your recorded closing prices. If you still have troubles, please tell me the symbol, quote server, and quote module version you're using.
