Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager
by Sand101 » Wed Jan 14, 2015 8:06 pm
Greetings,
When trying to log into T. Rowe Price I am getting a "missing ACCTINFORS in reply" error. This is a 529 account, though I access it fine straight through the main T. Rowe price web portal. I have tried this numerous times with slight variations in the account number. I keep getting the same error. I just bought the program (and all other accounts from other places imported without issue). Help?
On a completely separate note (but since I am on this small soapbox here) - my wife has her 457 through voyaretirementplans. Any plans to add these? Sadly I have no option to move this to somewhere else - this is the only account you don't appear to support and, well, they're horrible in a general sense. But I'd still love to track everything in one spot, if possible.
Thanks - great program so far.

Hi Sand101, I'm not sure why that error on T. Rowe Price is happening. Can you send us the log files, right after you attempt a transaction retrieve for this account? The log files will be in the hidden folder here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Fund Manager Please send us: ofxpost.txt, ofxretr.txt, and xmldump.txt by email. On the voyaretirementplans... It doesn't appear they offer an OFX server. Without this, we can't add support for retrieving automatically from them. You might ask them if they plan to offer such a service, for products like ours and Quicken. If they do, we'll add support for them. For a bit more info on this, see: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/faq ... upport.php

Thanks Mark. I'll do that.
And I'll request that of Voya. We'll see what comes of that.

Hi dellwo,
This is a different error than Sand101 was getting. Which T. Rowe Price option are you choosing, there are 3. If you're still having this problem, please let me know which interface you're choosing, and email us the same log files discussed here.

Decided to wait and try a few more times. Just started working again. Thanks, Joe

I think I just got lucky. I have 2 TRP updates. Sometimes both fail, sometimes only 1.
I'm e'mailing the files. Hopefully it is the right address.
Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the log files. You're receiving the same error message as you previously posted. The request looks formatted fine. That error looks like an internal error with T. Rowe Price's OFX server. You might wait again, and if the problem still persists contact T. Rowe Price and see if they have any information on their OFX (you might ask them about Quicken) interface being down.
