Fastest way to transfer a Yahoo portfolio

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Since Yahoo has stopped transactional entries there is a legacy portfolio that needs to be transferred out

What is the most efficient way to capture this into FM?

To reduce the hassle was thinking of just doing a cutoff as of 1 Jan 2015 to mark the values. Is there a way to system generate the end of day closing prices to port over the Yahoo Portfolio?

Worst case is the manually track back on old transactions and then upload one by one into FM which is hours of "busywork" that trying to avoid

Hi marathon,

I'm not familiar with Yahoo's system for portfolio tracking, or their export capabilities. Hopefully you could export your transaction history to some standard file format, like OFX, QIF, or CSV. If you can, FM can import any of these file formats. Otherwise, you'd probably have to do manual entry.

I didn't understand what you were looking for here?
