Memo Field

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi Mark, Noticed when transactions are downloaded (for instance in vanguard) more than once overlapping dates the memo field is getting appended with the same description. See the attached. Is that expected or is that a bug that would need to be addressed? Thanks!

Hi divinest,

Actually, that is how the memo is written from Vanguard. You can see this by looking in the log file after retrieving transactions for a date range covering one of these reinvestments. See "Help / Logs / Transaction Retrieve (Parsed)..." and look at the memo.

Thanks Mark, you are correct, the logs indicate the duplicate entry as well MEMO (DIVIDEND REINVESTMENTDIVIDEND REINVESTMENT)
