missing vanguard transactions

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi,

A week ago I had a few ETF transactions. With the exception of two ETFs, all were pulled by FM as expected (transaction module 234, FM 2018). The missing transactions otherwise show in Vanguard's history web page. I also tried getting transactions without skipping those already in.

Any thoughts?

Hi alt,

If you retrieve only this sub-portfolio again, and look at the log under "Help / Logs / Transaction Retrieve (Parsed)..." do you see any sign of the transactions in question?

Alt, try a different date range. Vanguard's payable date can be as much as a week after the ex-dividend date.

Thank you for the quick replies!

I need to make a correction.
The problem applies to only one ETF, RWX (sell order).
Transaction settled on 10/3.

And BTW, dividends are OK.

Problem solved!

I entered the CUSIP number in RWX's properties and everything worked.
This was a lucky guess. I do not understand when the CUSIP is required.

Hi alt,

The CUSIP is used when retrieving transactions. If the CUSIP is empty, FM will try to use the symbol, but the CUSIP is the primary identifier when matching up incoming transactions with existing investments. When you allow FM to create new investments automatically when retrieving transactions it will fill in the CUSIP as provided by your broker.
