Vanguard transaction retrieve fails

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hi,

I have FM 2018.15.4 with transaction module 236 and quote module 536.
Transaction retrieval was working just fine on v. 235. It seems like the upgrade to 236 is related.

IE 8 could not reach vanguard.com end hence neither could FM get to the OFX server.

What to do?

I cannot upgrade any of my Windows 7 components at this point.

Hi alt,

You might need to update your version of IE, if you're still on IE8. Security protocols change (SSL -> TSL etc), so this may be the reason you're not able to connect to Vanguard. They may require a later protocol support than you have available in IE8. You should be able to download IE11 on Windows 7.
