Canada quote server not working

I have FM2020 (16.12.100). I have been using for many years in Canada with Yahoo quote server for both prices and historical prices. Lately, I am unable to retrieve any new prices or historical prices. PLEASE HELP.

Hi sponge,

You're using a very old quote module (577). We are no longer providing quote module updates to FM 2020. You can read about this policy here. I'd suggest upgrading to FM 2024, and giving it another try.

Hi Mark
I am fully happy with all the features of FM2020. I need to upgrade to newer SW just b/c price retrieval module is not kept up-to-date? Price retrieval is an essential feature of such SW, wouldn't you agree?
Is there any other server in Canada that works with these version?

Keeping the price retrieval module working requires constant maintenance and updates on our part as the quote servers we utilize change. We now require that you be on the current version to continue receiving these updates as described in the link I sent in my last reply. Basically, this comes down to buying an upgrade about every 2 years.

The version of the quote module you have is very old, and there were maintenance releases made before we came out with FM 2024 that you can upgrade to (manually). I believe these releases are still functioning, although not officially supported. Please see the instructions I posted in the thread here.

I will look at the new features of FM2024 and probably end up upgrading.
