Vanguard MM Close Price

I will randomly get different values for my "Close" price other than $1 for my Vanguard Money Market accounts, VMMXX and VMSXX. This occurs when I do an Internet Retrieve. My server is Yahoo, from which I've had no other problems. For example, some days show $1 and some days the value may be $.44, or $.38. I've had no problems with my other Vanguard accounts. I manually "Edit" the prices back to $1 as need be.

It would seem that my problem stems from the Server I select? Any suggestions?

Hi Jeff47,

Normally you do not retrieve prices for cash or money markets. Edit the properties of this investment, and click on the "Internet Retrieve" tab, and turn off "Retrieve Price".

When retrieving a money market from Yahoo the 7 day yield is returned, and not $1 as you desire.

The default setting for "Cash" investment types is to have the "Retrieve Price" option turned off, so maybe this wasn't created as a cash investment initially?
