Interactive Brokers now available for retrieval

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Interactive Brokers has made available an OFX server for retrieving transactions/positions. We've just added support for this OFX server into Fund Manager with transaction module 273, which you can get using "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...".

To use this new server you must enable access in your IB account and get a Query ID and Token. See the instructions here:

This is great news and works perfectly. However, the "Tip" help text for setting up is not correct, at least not in my case. This is what I did: Select Performance & Reports > Third Party Reports, then Third-Party Services Settings Gear and check Quicken Direct Connect.

I have found that to get all of your old IB transactons, you need to go slowly. What worked for me was to go backwards year by year, i.e. 1/1/24-12/31/24, 1/1/23-12/31/23/ etc.
It took me a long time, but it worked.
