Sell transaction in cash investment not autoupdate shares

Hi Mark,

I think this is a minor bug in the new version: I notice that when I enter a sell transaction in a cash type investment where the price is always 1, it no longer automatically updates the number of shares when I enter the amount. I'm pretty sure it did that before the latest version.

Hi Ivan,

There is a new option that controls this. See:

Options / General Preferences... / Other / Transaction Dialogs Initialize Price

By default this was turned off. I think we'll turn it back on by default for new installations. If you turn it back on, it will work as before. We will also plan to ignore this option for cash type investments, and always pre-fill the price for cash investments, since their price typically doesn't change from 1.0.
