report preferences / hidden investments

When I go to REPORT PREFERENCES, this default makes sense:
Display hidden investments with activity

But it strikes me that one might choose differently among the sub-options at different times. It strikes me that I'd like some custom reports to show all investments (never suppress any investment with any activity) but not others. So if this could be an option that gets saved with every custom report, instead of a general preference, that would be a good idea.

I'm guessing that this is very far from a trivial request, and I'd like to acknowledge that. Still, it pops to mind and I share it in the spirit of brainstorming.
