Minor display issue - vers 11 beta 4

Comments, critical feedback, praise, or suggestions for new features.

Hello Mark,

I have send some slides and a backup via e-mail.

The problem I have on Vista Home is that while scrolling through investments the date on some investments in a 4 and 9 window format are not displayed.

Also I find that in 4 and 9 window that the ROI is not shown on some investments. By scrolling forward and backwards they do re-appear but then some others could be blank. This problem is not related to specific investments but at random to any one. At times the bottom 2 or 3 do display more consistent.

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Thanks for the bug report. I did receive your email and the attachments. I see the problem on your screen shots, but unfortunately I could not reproduce it here, even using your backup data. It looks like a painting/refresh issue, but to be sure, if you select "Window / Repaint Graphs", does that fix it when you see the problem?

If you do these tests in 10.9, can you reproduce the problem there too?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Happy to say the missing ROI and dates in vers 11 graphs were caused by Vista and FM.

By changing the display settings from Vista to Classic instantly fixed the "bug".

It seems one must not use the newer Microsoft systems but stick with the old - :)

Regards.

Hi fundman247,

Glad it seems fixed. I tried switching a Vista system between "Classic" and "Vista" themes, and wasn't able to get it to show this problem in either case. There must be something different on your system than mine, but I'm not sure what it is. I'll keep an eye out for this, in case I'm somehow able to reproduce it.
Thanks,
Mark
